They need to do something way more drastic than simply change a letter. Like them or not, Samsung did attempt to address the criticisms the galaxy line by going in a new direction, was it all good? No of course not, But they did arguably what was necessary, the sales figures since point to it being success.
Sony needs to try the same thing, the sooner the better, they are more than capable.
