before blacberry used sony ericsson compare to sony & black berry , sony ericsson not fine but one weak point black berry front camera not avillable

it is a great phone no doubt about it,but...unfortunately BB have to do something about there app world,it is the worst to deal with,it doesn't work in most of the arab countries and that sucks,u can't buy neither download anything if it start downloading it won't continue it just stops and reboots.they should fix that problem

BB 9780 is far better in terms of battery and usage compared to Iphone , on other hand iphone has its own fun the huge screen etc! but i am very happy switching to BB9780 !

I'm on the look out for a new phone and different people want different things. My major criteria is battery life and I'm amazed at the 9780 crikey that for me is a massive selling point.
I wish there was a gsmarena.com review on this phone :(

I regret for buying BB. Their Applications store is not accessible form many countries. I will get rid of it ASAP and switch to NOKIA.

About the design, its still all the same but i like it this way. Keep the original cuts but refine them alongside thats what makes a phone traditional. BB's softwares no doubt are one of the best out there. Btw if they put in 8MP cameras and all the extra sh!t then they surely will increase the price tag but they dont have to. Its all about business usage. Trust me, leave all the extra ent features and its the best out there except for color fading problem. I hate its speaker on music but once you plug in earpiece, it has better quality then N900, X8, Omnia I900(it sux), Desire HD. I have them all but still BB's is best for keeping you on track of everything and its a pretty damn strong phone. Also have the old 8120 Pearl and still going great with battery time of 2-3 days. What else do i need, nothing.
if its music, il prefer my car or my home theatres. if its videos, still il prefer my home system. if its camera, il prefer my pro camera as they are build for that purpose. In mobiles i dun as such need all that stuff. The only thing important is the ease of use, quick callin, messaging, internet on the go, good resolution and it provides it all.
I laugh at people buying Apple Iphone every other month. For me its a useless gadget. Buy Ipod, DVDs, Hometheatres, why a mobile to fulfill all the prev purposes, dun have money to get the real deal?
Everything looks good if it works good for the sole purpose it was build for and BB's is always increasing its capabilities in the Sole Purpose side rather getting of the track and emphasizing on ent features.

For me BB is an addiction, it is one hell of a phone that you can use like anything. Extremely fast for calls/messaging/internet. It almost has it all for me at least as im not a huge fan of MOBILE ENTERTAINMENT but still good enough if they are eventually increasing its entertainment capabilities, for business purposes its still a COMPLETE mobile.
Just one thing always buzzes me, it is the colors of BB which come off with time. If you keep a mobile with care, the colors wont fade or come off but BB's colors do fade and come off pretty damn quick and for this reason i normally hate it as have to change the casing every now and then.

The keyboard is flimsy and rattles in less than 3 months use, its made of cheap plastic and that metal lining is cheap too and attracts scratches. If Blackberry bold is "high quality' to you then you have a low quality of standard. You probably think the plastic dashboard in a Toyota is high class whereas i will stick with my stainless steel + glass iphone 4 and my porsche with its high quality leather and build quality.

Well i have the Blackberry 9700 and i thought RIM would respect us BB users enough to know that we are not as imbecile and woodheaded like the iRippoff crowd that buy the Apple "update" every year. BB users are smart enough to know tha 5Mp camera was already well established on the phone market when the 9700 came out. RIM could have easily put the same RAM and camera etc on the original Blackberry 9700. That i time i didn't care, but this time i do. It's the same crap over and over again. You might be a goofball just waiting to get ripped of, but i'm to experienced to pay another 600 dollars for the same phone but with a bit better RAM and marginally better camera. You go ahead and lick RIM's ass while getting taken for sucker, i personally don't intend to help RIM fill it's sales figures by ripping me off. Everyone knows this 9780 model is a bulls**t release by RIM to lure loyal BB users and keep up their sales figures while they come up with a better innovation. And you are calling mea goofball.. look who's talking.

And yeah you cannot just buy the parts and install it to your phone. You have to buy the new phone and that's why they made it a new phone. See, now you look like a goof. Nevermind, BB phones are of high quality, with bits of metals and leather they emits classy feeling. The displays are top notch, ever saw a movie on BB? you'll gaff in disbelief at how good the experience is. The camera quality is also good, not like those who just put any 5 MP sensor they can find and sell on the 5 MP tag. Although I don't prefer BB I still respect the quality of their phone

To those of you that already judged Blackberry and the specific phone, you might firstly need to check the new OS 6 that intergrated to this phone and then make your comments. a mobile phone consists of two things..the software and the design. for the disign i agree that there arent big differences but you will have to check also the new software which is amazing..

bb is so sh|t. They have no sense of originality. Same basic design ever since they came out. The 50$ phone looks no different than the $800. Still 100% plastic, still the same screen sizes and resolutions, same buttons, same colours.... no eye candy, no cool effects when pulling up or exiting screens. No wonder why apple, nokia, and moto are gaining sales... its cause they offer a RANGE or products rather than the exact same thing in a slightly differect shell. Go away bb, we're bored of you.
