I bought my phone from Australia but I'm living in China now, so maybe I can just get the battery replaced here.

would these newly supplied batteries affect the battery life ?? with new updates??? since they're not the ones that are provided by the company not externally??

Anonymous, 03 Sep 2016If the Chinese Note 7 units have batteries from diffrerent ... moreNo it dosent mean that samsung knew about the deffective battery, the biggest reason why they have diffrent companys is usually cause one company cant supply the enougth part that is needed for the customer (Samsung in this case) so they have to make a deal with another company aswell to make sure they get enougth that is needed.

If the Chinese Note 7 units have batteries from diffrerent supplier, it means Samsung was well aware of the issue even before it started becoming widespread. Maybe they just took chances selling the defective units earlier.

Now I understand why sammy fanboys said note 7 will blow the competition away. They literally blew it. Peace out.
