mir, 03 Sep 2016Advertising your phones while using unrealistic situations ... moreJust because the situation is not real does not mean that the product is not gonna success. What I feel about they wanted to achieve with this ads is make you understand that you can use this moto mods as you wish. Beyond the features that these moto mods have there is nothing else to advertise, cause everyone know what is a battery pak for, or everyone knows what is a speaker for, so, rather than a commercial with a typical white room with someone using these mods as spected, and then a technical demonstration about their specifications is not funny and its getting boring because is the same commercial for thousands of products. I don't thnk that people is gonna be stupid enough to think that they can use this mods in the situations they see on the ads that Lenovo is introducing. Or maybe, who knows. But the thing about it is that the standard people will know what to do with these moto mods. Anyone know what to do with a speaker or a battery pack so...

Advertising your phones while using unrealistic situations isn't really gonna make people anymore interested in your products, beyond the ad itself.

The ads are good IMO, but they seem a bit low budget to me. The lighting and camera positioning I guess?

But the main problem is they have little to work with, most people would see this and think its cool, but at the same time know they wouldn't really have much use for it. And that's before they see the prices. Lenovo probably know its not mass market material though.
