Razer announces Ornata keyboard with world's first mecha-membrane keyboard

Razer has announced a new keyboard that introduces a new kind of switch that Razer calls mecha-membrane, a combination of mechanical and membrane key-switches.

somewhat cheap for a mechanical keyboard..whereas somewhat pricey for a membrane...hmm..i'm going corsair k70..its awesome

    i prefer flush modern keyboard ..

      I use Blackwidow Chroma, Mamba chroma and Firefly at my work and keep them on spectrum cycle mode. I would say the setup is eye candy. People stop by often to take photos or videos of them.

        actually, they aren't the first ones to do this. Cooler Master made the mem-chanical keyboard, the MasterKeys Lite L. And for the ones that say "who would pay so much for a keyboard when you can buy one for 10$", my response is: Why would you buy a nice $50k car when you can get a $5k car that does the same thing. It's actually the experience(RGB, response time, key travel, build quality etc) it gives you while using it, nice things cost more. But I agree that Razer pricing sucks

          Paying that much for a keyboard, when an ordinary one can serve you just as well for work and gaming. This is just a vanity product that you ocassionally show off to your friends. If you have any.
