And the fanboys think only few units are affected. LOL .. even Chinese batteries are better.

Well, what is definitely certain, is that currently absolutely it's not a happy/good period for Samsung, with this around $1 billion cost, the extremely bad reputation, & that if it will be spread world wide & to the ordinary man in the street, it will cost even more than the 1 billion. More than that, with the LG V20, the iPhone etc. Just around the corner. Well definitely it's a bad bad period for Samsung

Any utility programs on Android that identify battery hardware?
Seems like the whole world (outside of china) gets the faulty batteries; I would prefer a 'TDK' battery anyway... mayhaps that is what the replacement units will contain...

Marvin, 06 Sep 2016Next time Sammy, remember that a replaceable battery is che... moreGood point but here the problem is not only the battery but the logic too.

if only it would pack a 4000 mah li-ion battery. 6gb ram and exynos 8893 cpu, i would buy it. but for now, its a downgrade on my s7.

Lesson learned sammy, built in battery's on your over priced flagships have bit you up the back side, removable batterys are a must,so if the customer has problems then its cheaper to replace the battery and not the whole god dam phone, worth thinking about ?

Can't wait to see what the Sammy boys will say now since they already bashed the other company for the faulty batteries. Blind faith in a company is never good

Next time Sammy, remember that a replaceable battery is cheaper to replace than an entire phone.
