No jack make perfect sense, especially with how Bluetooth technology is coming along.
Apple have never used SD cards with any of their mobile products so why would they now?
If those things are important to you then stay with Android. If, like me, you want to move with the times then get with Apple!

I am looking forward to those CPU/GPU performance comparison youtube videos showing the iPhone7 obliterating one by one all existing android phones starting from the bombastic Note 7. The iPhone for a number of years now hits the androids where it really hurts.

.... "Apple copied waterproofing from Sony".... What a silly comment. I remember having a waterproof electronic watch back in the 80's and an underwater camera in the 90's. Making waterproof devices is older than Sony itself.

What is the use of 256gb or storage when I have to download everything while most of the space is taken by the movies my friends share with me. And there is no WiFi transfer in iPhone. Android nougat has leaped much in terms of usability by adding multi Window and improved dose. And what is the hardware feature I can't get in Android? Speed of sd820 is enough for me. I want balance between functionality and personalization. And even if I buy iPhone, I'm not leaving android, plus when I get a current android, I can get most of the ip7 hardware features.
So I'm back on xperia XZ (which I was buying even if I buy ip7) and it is also no short in status.

Still no mass storage or SD card slo... moreIf you read carefully , you will know that I was answering to the people who were saying apple copied waterproofing and stereo speakers,and dual camera and I said yes they copied, but they were needed (stereo speakers and waterproofing) and said that I am not a fan of dual camera though.
And also I'm not a big fan of lSD cards, at least on high end phones (maximum amount of storage supported on phones is 200 gb +32 gb offered by phone, it is still less than the 256gb model of ip7.
And who don't want as much, can buy 128gb version (it is not much expansive than other high end android)

Many saying apple not invented anything this year and copied (or at least learnt) most things (ip ratings, stereo speakers, dual cameras, quad cores) and I agree, but they made iPhone more usable and gave what was needed, and I think this year is more about refinement and polish rather than refreshment. (iPhone 7,s7,op3).
Though I'm not any fan of dual cameras (at least their current forms) but if someone adds a less megapixel lowlight cam and high megapixel daylight (23mp Sony +12mp sammy) , it would be ideal but also, expansive for makers and hence won't happen at least near future.

What I liked about Apple before iPhone 7: 1)look of ios(just look)
2)that it forces others to Sammy to be on the cutting edge of technology, and this year to balance the user experience and re-add waterproofing and SD card expansion, which in turn forces Chinese makers to make affordable flagships more refined (case here one plus 3).
Things I disliked about Apple before iPhone 7:everything remaining.
Things I like about Apple after iPhone 7:
1)two written above
2)iPhone 7 (only non plus)
3)plain black color
4)256GB storage
5)that they learned that they cannot fool the world totally at least.
Things I dislike about Apple after iPhone 7 :
1)ui offers very less customization.
2)Don't have very high hopes for camera this year too, both in 7 and 7 plus.
3)not about Apple, but ifans, that untill yesterday, they insisted two cores are ideal, but from today, it will be 4. And next year, amoled displays will also get ideal. Just like 4.7 and 5.5" sizes.
