You can obviously dump it inside a pool of water, but seriously only 'kids' do so... Having the peace of mind should the device comes into contact with a liquid is better than having to think about possible battery rupturing during charging should the ordinary device comes into contact with liquid...
Anyway, Motorola and some Chinese phones which do not have waterproofing still am able to resist some water splashes with no issues due to an internal coat that repels water...

Dual camera set-up, stereo speakers and water resistance are all copy from android phones.
The only original idea and a staple from Apple is the ridiculous price tag of their products. No contest about that.

Dual camera set-up a is copy from Lg and Huawei while the stereo speaker and water resistance is a copy from Sony Xperia.

Samsung over to you, how long before samsung flood the market with duel wide lens phones. Id say its nailed on that the Galaxy s8 with have duel lens. Niceone apple your making samsung play catchup again. Competition is so good for the consumer. I dont own an iphone but this 7 plus looks nice.

is it worth buying? give me one reason to choose this over some other high-end android.

"Liquid damage is not covered under warranty"
I dont know why they made it waterproof if they aren't gonna cover water damage
nobody is gonna use the waterproofing part sadly.BTW i uses my galaxy s5 for underwater photos regularly.It dosent have any damage though

Pep, 07 Sep 2016But Apple put good software and got much more use out of it... moreThey did the same camera setup as LG G5.when you are in normal mode it uses wide angle lens and when you zoom it it will switch to normal angle lens.because both are 12 megapixel they are of same quality but it creates a Optical zoom effect.They may include bokeh effect too.It is a LG G5 camera without laser autofocus and two extra led.Wow what an innovation.Same copy paste Apple
