I think if you put an iPhone or any other phone charging in side the car under the hot sun. You are going to see the same explosion is well.

Dont buy Samsung phones ever !!!
This company is a cheater by selling non-tested, non-finished products.
It's doesn't care about product quality either!
I have bought Samsung microwave and vacuum cleaners previously, all having electronic failures just after 6 months!
This company should just shut down and go bankrupt!
I recommend buying HTC or some Taiwanese or Japanese electronic products

Looks like this die hard apple fan will go to great measures to make you buy their god phone.....

Tim Cook will go there in person and offer a guy a brand new iPhone 7 Plus :D ...right sorry, couldn't resist.

For sure, this is good and also bad marketing for Samsung...All i'm seeing for days if not a week now is Samsung. They're all over the media.

One more thing. I've always recommended all my friends and family that if they have money to get the latest, newest phone...do it (if they wish so)...but only 3-4 weeks after public release, so things like this could be avoided.

Please read the story before commenting. The guy lost thousands of dollars worth of after market parts which everyone knows aren't covered by insurance.

Time to face facts. Samsung made a dangerous phone rushed to the market due to their fear of the iPhone. Now it's putting people's lives and properties at risk.

Anonymous, 09 Sep 2016Samsung rushed a phone to market with explosive batteries. ... moreFaulty battery is MANUFACTURING ISSUE.
Fanboy or hater it doesn't matter s****, you still can't avoid facts. They didn't design new batteries for the Note, just a same old Lithium Ion/Polymer cell, that was made defective by one of the manufacturing plants.
Samsung's fault for not enough batch tests? Sure. Their engineer's fault for "rushing a product"? Not at all.

Reminds me of the flaming S3 that supposedly burned an entire house down. The explanation was that the burning phone was kicked under the sofa, that then set the house in flames.
The entire time it takes for such stuff to happen isn't nearly instant so that no other action could be taken, makes me take the "Burning stuff to the ground" talks with a pinch of salt.
Possible? Yes totally possible. But how real are the stories... Like the microwaved S3, fake charger iPhone 5 killing a woman, fake battery phones exploding during night charge and so on.

This is really hard to believe. But if it is true, that means Samsung just manufactured a phone which cannot withstand normal temperature.Rare but not impossible.

[deleted post]Phones battery have a sensor that cut off power if it is too warm.. The one in note 7 is faulty.

Any other phones would have been save. So, yeah is fault of samsung.
