This is a pathetic story. Yeah, I'm sorry the guy has lost his car, but FFS it clearly states in the article that this happened "a few days" AFTER Samsung issued the recall! I sure as hell would not be using a device of any manufacturer after it had been subject to a recall - they don't recall these things for nothing, and are reluctant to do so due to the negative press they will generate. But Samsung are strong and will bounce back from this. But sorry dude, as the recall had already been made, this one is your own fault.

Perhaps because of the weather its summer and the temp inside the car is raise and also when he left his phone on car was on charging mode it heat up and probably increase and cause explosion. Most android heat up fast, and need to shut / turn off the phone while charging in car think or turn on the air con.
