So, Samsung issues the recall, advises people not to leave the phone unattended when charging... and the guy is wondering why his car burned down?

    For real.

They have only issue a volunteer exchange program. This is 100 percent Samsung's fault.

I went to the beach and left my iPhone in the sun for a few minutes too long and it asked me to "let it cool down". But it didn't explode.

Sh!t happens and when people are rushed they make daft decisions - but devices should be built with that in mind, or else we're going to have some serious problems.... many people out there are just not that smart.

After I was dumped with defective screen on SGS6 that Samsung rejected to replace, i won't buy Samsung products either. I was considering Shamesung for new monitor, but went with LG, because of this. New SSD planned for this year won't be Shamesung either. At least two persons planned for Shamesung phones but went with other brands, because consulted with me before buying.

It's his fault. Samsung recalled the Note 7 and he didn't return it. Moreover, he left the phone charging in a car in summer.

I did wait for some new kind of testing after freezing, bending, dropping, scratching. Seems testing if it will blow up is one. It goes around like plague. Wonder how samsung will save itself... Maybe they should follow tesla and give it titanium(I mean something, not that its the same problem as in model S).

This guy should be sentenced to prison for his whole life.
5% chance it's apple behind it, 90% chance it's just this idiot hoping for a cash grab, and to be a celebrity for five minutes, 4% chance it's user error, 1% chance it's somehow related to this battery issue.
Many idiots around the world are babbling about afrading their s7-s being also possibly explosive, and so on. These people should also be sentenced to jail. This is not just your usual applefan samsungfan trash talk, this is really serious brand abuse.

The jeep guy made billions worth of brand depreciation, that's enoguh for life sentence. His wife should also go to jail! She was well aware of this fraud, and they've planned this out in detail. Their whole family should pay for this for generations to come. After all, how much time would it take for this guy and his whole family to pay at least a billion dollars back to Samsung? Maybe a hundred generations???

whole story is quite fishy.... but it could be true given the circumstances .

defective or not , leaving a phone in car to charge is completely wrong , especially the sealed unit that is made out of glass . and on hot day like in Florida now ? only fool with zero brain could be so irresponsible .

well , R.I.P. champion of laggy phones , Note7 definitely deserved such fate :) too bad for Jeep though.
