i own the Xperia X10 BUT that doesn't justify the fact that SE is being ridiculous with these updates! i know they're trying to fix bugs and all but seriously, does it take THIS long? and now i have to wait even longer cause i love in Canada & they said it's going to be the 1st week of november or after than that, which is bullshit! i don't mind no multi-touch, no 16m colours but give us the damn update already! -_-
i heard they totally abandoned the Satio owners as long as updates are concerned.
this isn't the SE that i used to be a fan of...it's a shame on SEs part!

I dont know why you people bother bashing SE.if you dont like it then just go away you know.if you really love it(which i really do) i am sure you can accept that they are making progress.I bought the phone when the day it was released in UK and I had to wait 5 months for 2.1, but hey they started out late!So i dont think its fair that you compare it to HTC or Samsung in that matter.because HTC dont release anything else apart from android phone until the release of WP7, Samsung dont release their own OS any more apart from useless budget phone, SE in the other hand they still make new series and refine their Walkman range.
Come on people!SE is the 1st manufacturer that brings out constant update to ALL their phone for new features or improvement.Whereas Nokia only bring out updates to certain phone and after much longer period than SE, Samsung well I dont think there is much of updates just like LG.You haters might say the reason SE bring out so much updates because they have so much problems to start with, but hey! at least they care and look into it and bring out solutions others just invest their time and money on new phones and range, because to them - all you suckers have bought the phone already and i have taken the money off you, i dont care what happen after!

I refused to buy the mini pro because it was android 1.6. But if truly SE is giving an update to 2.1 then i will go for mini pro. Just make the update quick and simple.

x10 at 1.6 still beats out any other phone. No loss of data, or faulty upgrades like the other manufacturer.
Android 2.1, 2.2, or 2.3 are all great OS's. None of the upgrades makes the previous a shit product.
