mir, 09 Sep 2016So they made a phone that they don't want to sell to as muc... moreBy not selling phones in a country - or region - they can thereby produce less phones. This will make it so their production costs will be reduced. "Stupidly said": what's the point of selling a product in an area where no one will buy it?

For my part (and I'm from Europe), I'd totally buy this phone if it was released in Europe.

Which was pretty much when LG were no longer an option for me.

Well, they need to dump the vastly inferior G5 on the Europe's unsuspecting audience, so it's just better to withhold the V20.

seems like these Koreans phone company don't like the EU or something I was thinking of getting this phone now I'll probably get the pixil if it comes here because it seems like all these companies are passing on realising in the EU

Whilst the Note 7 might have its issues at least they are actually selling it, or will be again shortly. This phone is a disappointment in a number of ways. Despite being bigger than the Note 7 and not water resistant and not having a stylus either it's battery is almost 10% smaller. Then look at the HP Elite X3 with a user replaceable 4150mah battery and a 6 inch screen as opposed to this at 5.7 inch. It is only 2 mm taller, has a bigger screen, bigger battery and is water resistant too. Unfortunately it comes with Windows 10 instead of Android but it serves to demonstrate what can be done and apparently what LG can't do. And on top of that they act like the world owes them a favour. Guess which brand I won't be buying any time soon. They can keep their unfortunate attitude along with their phones.

They could ship it with global rom and don't spend money on regional customization.

Bollocks. I figured it'd come to this, so I ordered a HTC 10 yesterday. Would've loved to get a V20, though.

You'd think that a company like LG would have the foresight to realise that this is a stupid mistake lol.
Makes me wonder what type of people work for these companies.

Hmmm... does any mate and hun out there who feels any pain about this? Or should we emphasize as does anyone really give a s**t about this?

Looks like they put 2 and 2 together and came up with 50. A lot of people do that when seeing UK and EU (or an associated country) in the same sentence or paragraph. Pretty sad really.
