But you are right to point the biggest flaw in Samsung devices (in fact in Android devices excluding Nexus): UPDATES.

In fact, if I could, I would purchase the Note 7 International, but it is not available in Canada (while the S7 was) because of the Equynox.
The 8890 is an impressive SoC, with a quick CPU and an more than enough powerful GPU (less that the 820, but it still does the job thanks to Vulkan)
Going to wait for the Note 8 maybe the Equynox will come back to Canada. And hopefully US carriers will drop CDMA. In 2017 there will be only two carriers offering CDMA, and in 2018 there will be only one. I really want the Equynox back.

Cassy O, 11 Sep 2016Note7 + SD820 = yeah Note7 + E8890 = smooth, just like S7 ... morenope , Note 5 was also laggy and it used only Exynos ...if the Exynos version preform better then snapdragon one then either samsung don't want or can't optimize snapdragon chipset any better . still the problem is in the software and not in the chipset .

The reason for me to switch from Samsung to any other phone would be late updates. Galaxy Alpha was direct Iphone 6 competitor when it was announced. But it still didnt get Marshmellow even it was promised for June 2016. Marshmellow came at 12th month of Alpha's introduction to market and after 1 year it is still on lolipop. SORRY SAMSUNG YOU CANT FOOL ME TWICE. I consider other brands now.

Week ago this phone daily interest was over 60% now it's only 16%
It's clearly showing the impact of this happening, people arent interested about this phone anymore.

i think that samsung should rename the 'safe' notes 7s note 6 to keep better track of the bad ones, just saying idk if sounds stupid lol

Im so proud of samsung for acting so fast! Unlike in other manufacturers, they just ignore the problems of their customers. Samsung for the win!

37 % is still a lot if they were serious about getting the Samsung note 7 and want to jump ship that is a huge percentage of the readers

Best decision is to skip this year and wait for next year it will be great for the mobile world
