The screen must be QHD, otherwise I'm not going to buy it. I didn't buy Mate 8 just because of low screen resolution and poor camera. I hope Mate 9 will not disappoint us.

It'll be 2560x1440 and wouldn't surprise me if it's OLED.

Anonymous, 13 Sep 2016Does Mate 9 still have an old 1080 x 1920 pixels display?According to the rumours it is FHD 1080p, seems unlikely to be a flagship killer with that old resolution spread over 6 inches, if it is QHD 2160p I will definitely buy, my LG G3 now over 2 years old has a QHD screen. Sure don't fancy moving to a screen half an inch bigger with 60% less pixels!!

mate 9 is p9 killer ... the only thing that I really like about Huawei is the dload operation for upgrades or downgrades works amazing .. easiest way to update a phone .

There are several different ways to do a dual system. It MIGHT be to do some sort of optic zoom. or it MIGHT be with larger pixels to get better lo light abilities, or it MIGHT be just to get distance info for fake Bokeh.
I wonder why we do not see these dual systems with more lens separation, so it could do a little 3D too.

username8, 12 Sep 2016What was wrong with LG V20-design, specs or performance?Apart from the battery that is almost 10% smaller than the Note 7's despite the V20 being physically bigger and not water resistant and having no stylus either? Even the HP Elite X3 which is only 2mm taller has a user replaceable battery that is 30% bigger and is water resistant. I see no reason why it could not have a 4000 mah, as opppsed to a 3200 mah battery. It doesn't matter how good a phone is if I cannot depend on its battery and LG's track for enudrance is poor, not suprisingly with their small battery syndrome. Not to mention they may not even be selling in Europe at all.

Not possible... Huawei just can't make the Mate 9 an almost replica(infact worse) of the legendary Mate 8.
There legacy depends on it.

Besides if it is the same camera setup as the P9 then it wont have an issue with low light. One of the cameras are used to capture low light
