"Pixel" is the dumbest name ever. It's like a childs toy. Google has gotten rid of a cool name, Nexus, which is much loved, and turned their phone into an embarrassment.

Nexus regroup all devices manfuactered for Google, with the stock rom + Google services.
Pixel will be complementary: That will be devices who will be fully integrated in the Google services environment.
That means, Google will also propose his own overlay via this specific range.

Good launcher but a bad call for the name change, Nexus sounds and even looks better as a word.
Nexus is a household name amongst android users.
Pixel is just a bad call.
Now Touchwiz, thats a crap name and a crap launcher, they should change the hell out of that.

They should stay with nexus name. Names like brands older is better. Especially when they aren not going to but the htc logo.

Works on galaxy S7. One issue only: google now not opening with the right swipe as on google start.

hello, Pixel Launcher not working on my my One Plus X. I had loved the Nexus Launcher for sure, is there any major difference... else will continue with Nexus Launcher only..

I've always thought it was really dumb, when choosing a name, to pick one where the last letter of the first name is the same as the first letter of the second name. You have to pause between the two names to avoid running them together. Like Chris Smith - 2 S's running together - in this case sounding like someone with a lisp saying Christmas! Run together Bob Baker and it sounds like Bob Acre.
