Android 7.0 Nougat update will finally hit the Nexus 6 and LTE Nexus 9 in a few weeks

That's basically the only thing the company has had to say about the ongoing delay.

My Nexus 6P still haven't got the update, although I got the one which should have prepared my phone for receiving Nougat update ._.

              Nexus 5X has already had the upgrade in software to Nougat. Change wallpaper as per usual. So far it is working well. Thanks Alphabet/ Google.

                A 4 yr old iPhone 5 is getting iOS 10, but 2 yr old nexus phone still waiting for update. Very poor Update structure by Google.

                            Wake me up when phone companies stop selling phones with KitKat.
                            And not only that, many phones with Marshmallow don't even get the monthly security patches on time.

                              nexus people are just fine with updates trust me :) nexus 5 will have unofficial updates probably for atleast like 5 years if not more :)
