Dell contributes drivers directly to the kernel development team and keeps a separate git repository of drivers in development. No other company, especially not Lenovo, comes close to this type of support and integration with the Linux stack.

The pro is, it is the prettiest laptop with decent specs in my opinion. The cons is, it is too expensive and doesnt have dedicated gpu, means gaming or some assignment that required some graphic power would be sucks.

I've been wanting to buy one but I can't find it in my country. I have to go to their online stores to get one. I heard they had a 4K display, option am I right? I'm an average gamer and do tons of assignment in my laptop. I heavily use my laptop for Facebook, Youtube and searching for information about my many assignments and works. I won't use a Macbook beacuse I use Windows programs a lot. I want a Dell XPS but I'm not sure which version should I get. What would you recommend me?

Rose gold is a nice addition folks, Apple can do it why can't Dell? It has sold millions for Apple, it would be CRAAAAZY for Dell to skip this opportunity. The XPS laptop line itself was already solid and high quality for many years and I can recommend them as I have both XPS 15 and 13. The so-called "infinity display" is beautiful just to stare at. The only short fall for these systems is the poor battery performance. I get used to tethering my laptop to the wall so, you know, I'm just used to it. However, having the option to NOT having to plug in for hours longer is welcome news. I also own a Macbook Pro but I don't make it work like I do with my Windows systems, the Mac is just my leisure browse/stream movies and other fun activity system.
To the folks who hates "fashion designed" systems, it really is "to each his own" type of thing. You probably don't hang out at coffee shops with friends or study at the library with classmates. It's just a touch of "fashion" for those folks who care about this kind of stuff. I don't care for "rose gold", but thin, light weight and longer lasting battery is so-to-speak, "golden".
The most important improvement for this XPS 13 though is not the color, it is the longer lasting battery. I have been waiting a long time for this Intel 7th gen processor to be released into systems. My laptops at home are due for a refresh so bring on over the 7th gen Intel chips baby!

Its brilliant and stunning, i do owe one thats why i can say anyone can go for it, better thn mac pro, airbook and macbook. And one more thing to glida , where d hell have u seen the rose gold colour so that u r saying it ugly, even its demo unit has not arrived in market, maybe u dream not only at night but day also.

false i actually like the device a lot, and i don't prefer using macintosh so my options are with the windows or linux powered machines and this happens to be good looking as well
