I used iphone 6s for 6 months and I found it really bad compared to android phones
Atlest I feel that iphone is not for india

I know a shop in chadni chowk, just few days ago they made a bulk order of imported iphone 6, from us, it took them only 20 days or so.. GO TELL YOUR FAKE STORY TO SOMEBODY ELSE JUST TO PROVE YOU ARE RIGHT>> RUBBISH

No matter what OS or what brand, buying a phone beyond $200 - $300 is not worthy. You're are paying for extra power you don't need. But there are exceptions like phones that can be converted to a PC or a Note like phone. All other phones does the same job. I have used an $100 Android tab for business purposes for one and a half years without a problem, with no updates until it recently had an accident and the screen cracked. I used a $130 Lumia 525 for about 2 years and recently bought a cheap Huawei and using (this one has some problems with data being lost during sleep) for about 4 months now. Yeah there is some slowness in the cheap huawei when compare to my two other devices, but it gets the job done. This phone was about $70. So can't complain.
But paying more than $300 is ridiculous, unless you can really afford.

I never said they import everything for every fix. I once tried replacing my on board dvd/cd writer on a Macbook Pro. Had to travel from jalandhar to Ludhiana(3 hrs on commercial) to place an order for the device which was imported. BTW importing parts from China is not an easy tax. It's been 7 months since I placed order for a couple of Buck converters, Still Loading till now.

Officially, apple will replace the product if there is a harware defect covered under warranty.
Out of warranty, you pay 50% of the price of product to get it replaced

AnonD-585282, 15 Sep 2016Dude your warranty in India is almost useless because there... morethats misinformation.. who told you that? i hate iphones for their crazy pricing, but I love their everything else, my ipad air did break down few months ago, it was the m8 motion co processor problem.. they replaced and re-soldered the chip, and returned it within 3 days, now that wouldn't be possible if they would have sent it to foreign for repairs.. and for asia, apple don't have any factories.. Foxconn makes their devices, so importing parts from china is an easy task

Crazy pricing, iphone SE price in US 400 $, in India 510 $, I wanna buy this phone but it is so overpriced that I can get Galaxy S6 edge or add little money and get galaxy S7.
People blaming taxes for this high pricing but they need to understand that tax is constant for a time span when price reduction is around 200$; means Apple was making 200$ additional profit initially and still making considerable profit.
It is clear that Apple products in India are heavily overpriced. I saw many people who can't even transfer songs from itunes but got iphones just for show off, this is reason why iphones prices are crazy high here, it is not just a phone but a status symbol in India.
I used to have iphone 5c, currently using Oneplus x and really want to get an iphone this time. For iphones software and hardware synergy is just awesome and I hate those onscreen navigation buttons of Android which take lots of screen space.

Like most people here can afford it. Samsung's flagship sales here is even dismal at best. That's why OEMs release their flagship phones here way too late and after most countries have already had them in a while. Not even every flagship. LG's V10 wasn't released here. They have anticipated that 3rd world country such as ours can't afford real flagship phones and have to strategically market the correct number of phones being released here in india. Lots of mid/low range phones. Less flagships. Hopefully, they would correct this kind of practice since just because we're 3rd world, doesn't mean we can't afford real flagship phones.
