android is most common os in the world and its a easily customize with your mood so i like android and apple is a best but price wise is costly so i personal opinion to choose androide

Tons of apps, granular control o... moreCustom ROMs that most of the times have hundreds of bugs, and probably not that much updated, and the saddest part (Or hilarious) is that most of android user will have to get a custom ROM to have Nougat! because there is still people with Gingerbread, and how many will actually get Nougat, like 1%, and don't throw that " I'm not talking about devices" because most of the brands never get the updates, I don't believe your "Communities" support everyone of the millions brands android have.

Tons of apps, granular control over apps, the possibility of installing custom ROMs, thousands of sideload-able apps, the chance of modifying your device any way you want, extended Android community support for users and developers...

Else you have less and less apps available to you.
Plus developer have no incentive to upgrade android apps anyways.. just make sure its working on most devices. Most of the time they are bug fixing rather then making new features.
As for features, iOS / Android each have their own unique features and perks. Don't think of iOS as Android Lite.

And most of the stuff are things that android doesn't give with os updates, instead it just gives them through the play store like normal. So if android did have updates of the kind iOS gives, older android devices get them too without needing to update the os.

Dont you worry, we only have ios10 and 11 and 12 and 13 and 14 in the future. You will never need nougat coz you are only stuck with everything marshmallow... Yum Yum... Hahah.
