I don't think that it is good offer at all. Take a look at SoC used here. It's same as the one in Moto E LTE 2gen. Remember that the CPU is on the Vulcan blacklist, then no chances to get Android 7.0 Nougat!

Wow, an impressive good value phone just got cheaper. It's a steal then, and it's a steal now.

AnonD-558092, 16 Sep 2016Yeah, but the regular G4 is a massive change. It now costs ... moreHere in India it is not double the price, G3 (16GB) now costs 10,999 INR ($165) whereas G4 costs 12,499 ($187)-16GB/13,999-32 GB and G4 plus is 13,499 ($202)/14,999. The G3 sold extremely well and their was no price drop

Dis is a gud prise. It makes this phone very attractive as a lower end alternative to the Xiaomi Redmis :)

The branding Moto G began to sound like good mid-range non-expensive phone with amazing value, so now Lenovo takes advantage of this to make a mid-high end phone (G4/Plus) with a mid-end device that is now considered as low-end because of the branding (G4 Play, like the mid-end variant of the Moto X flagship, the X Play)

Wow, that's a steal. Even if this has similar specs to the Moto E of last year, $85 is a great deal! Oh, and that Snapdragon 410 may not be a beast, that thing just sips on your battery (my Galaxy Tab A can last for just over 20 hours of SOT with 6,000 mAh). Moto is the best budget smartphone makers to date.

It's important to note that this Verizon model DOES NOT HAVE GSM OR HSPA, just CDMA and LTE 2/4/5/13.

$84.99 is a great offer for this phone. In India it is still selling at Rs.8,999 ($135)

that's a very nice offer for the specs, as the post says, it's not like a high end mobile but it'll get the job done, looks cool and Moto brand can be trusted :) nice offer from verizon
