Observe his eyes carefully, he is reading the written speech from the screen beside the camera. He isn't apologizing from his heart. C'mon Samsung, learn to apologize from the bottom of your heart.

Anonymous, 17 Sep 2016its ok .. its samsung ... people will said not everything i... moreNo it's NOT ok, it's samsung! They are a huge mobile company with millions of fans, this shouldn't have happened with Samsung, that's the problem here.

There is no excuse for not testing their devices properly, there is no excuse for throwing the blame to someone else to cover their butts when it's obviously their fault!
I don't read at the phone "battery company" I read "samsung" so it's their fault. They didn't test their devices properly, and that's it.

what I watch is "please we didn't mean to do thaat.. please give us your money now like a good sheep. We didn't mean not to test our best phone so far, we didn't mean to put our crup cleaners from the basement to test our note 7, they would do anything for 2$ more in their already low salary.
Please understand that it's not a big deal, just a few million devices exploded.. so what?
We are Samsung, and you are sheeps. Now enough with the apologies give us your money"

Well it's obvious what they are trying to do.. cover their sorry mobs. What happened to the "no it wasn't our fault, blame the battery company!" eh sammy? What happened to that?

I urge you to check his profile and see the devices he like, which is all android. You are the type of samsung fanboys that give bad names to samsung supporters. Dont just be cool, be smart too.

True, there is nothing that can replace the note on the market...if the user cares about the s-pen. Otherwise, v20 is a better purchase for everyone else with its non curved screen and immediate access to the best android out there (7.0). I dont know which note is currently the best selling ever, but after the battery fiasco, it will have to settle for max third best selling note, at best. Notice also that in america, ever since the note 7 recalls, samsung tripled down on publicity and aggressive deals for the S7 edge and i am sure that a lot of potential note 7 buyers bought the S7 edge instead.

I think its very responsible of Samsung to act like this. They could've acted a 1000 ways, but this way is appreciable.

This is exactly what a company must do. Note the individual incident reports, and test their product for deficiency on this report, and then act as per your situation. Before anyone else told them, they admitted it and took corrective action, despite business loss in it.

The mature customers will appreciate this. Specially those that did not encounter any problem till now. The immature ones and the Samsung bashers are gonna have a fun time though.
