Though I would agree 5.5 S7 edge is already a phablet and I would not use phone bigger than that.

Main caveat of your point is that iphone 6,6s and 7 are same size as 5.2inch Samsung devices like s6edge, yet they have only 4.7inch screens and huge bezels. So the bezel question is more important here, than actual screen size - we need to look to the phone dimensions itself. That said if the screen could be bezel-less I believe I could comfortably use about 6inch screen/phone.

      iPhone is the only one with proper spec and display size for modern homo sapiens.
      Users have no choice. A 5 inch phone is not mobile and it looks stupid when you phone.
      I miss smartphones like Nokia E52.

          And soon Note7 is coming back on the market.

Not everyo... moreI am nor rich nor have a flag ship.I bought Oneplus3 and i had a entry level LG phone from 2013.BUt fo the money you will spend on this ... i guess call it a device from 2012 you can buy great phones for this price.I am not grateful for Samsung for having this poor designed phone for this price at all,and shouldn't you as well.You can buy phones from many phones from different brands that offer better specs.I am grateful to ZTE for having ZTE Zmax pro for 20-30$ more and to phones from Doogee,blackview,leagoo,lenovo and many MANY more.My tablet from lenovo costs 100$ and i am using for 8 months now.And if you want a phone from samsung,you can search in some phone stores and you can buy older (not used) mid range Samsung phones for the same price or few $ more.
            Do a little research before you comment,becoz there are ppl that know more about phones than you do :)
