16 September 2016
By that time, hopefully every person who had a unit prone to catching fire will have replaced it with a safe one.

I buy a phone because I want to & will never give a F what you Fandroid keyboard bullies think!

I think Samsung should change note 7 into note 8 or any other new name as the flagship has experienced a blot.

To those who want to buy this device. Don't. Now that the Note 7 lineup has a blot on its record, Samsung will actually have to do something spectacular to get people back. So the next Note will be better.

Kinda wary of the glass construction of the S7 series. Recently my Note 3 suffered it's first ever drop onto hard asphalt (by accident). Having a plastic build translated in a few scuffs & scratches. Had it been an S7 Edge/Note 7 it wouldn't have walked away without a cracked screen/back panel.

"Samsung and its partner stopped selling the Note 7" walked into a Tmobile store yesterday full of note 7 advertisement, and the sales rep told me it is a hassle to exchange the device and advised against doing it unless I was really worried

That's what happens with all massed produced consumer goods in this little place called reality. A world were perfection far from exists.
And where most cell phone companies have already had this issue.

This is not the first device or that last.

Reality. You might want to try it some day. That's the actual facts.

Unless your just not looking to spend that much.
Although depending on which country your are in I would look up a few things and probably go for the exynos version if possible.

I usually don't get the latest & greatest phone until a few months in, that way I can see the little things to look out for (half-baked features, exploding batteries, touch IDs rendered useless by gloves) and save some money in the process. Having said that, I'll probably wait for the Pixel/Nexus phones. And if not satisfied get the HTC 10 or the S7 Edge.
