A beast of a chipset Apple has come up with for the iPhone 7.

Well, give iPhone 7plus a QHD display.. A dual radios for two sim, a componant to run SD card and a pen...
Then try running... I am sure, it will finish after note 3..
Oh yes this all is without bringing closed eco system of ios( only iPhone runs iOS no need of accommodating nth number of manufeturers).
Besides,, just the quality of screen and footprint is enough to win hands down...
(I am iOS and android fan/user and don't hate eithet.)

The only good thing in iPhone is the CPU. But Android flagships are better in all other aspects (especially the features). iPhones can't even do file managing, multitasking or running programs in dual window...

However the proper speed test would be running PPSSPP games on both phones with the same settings + enabled FPS / speed on screen. iPhone would have better performance.

Regardless of the method of using each device, this test proves that the apps are more refined to work on iOS than on Android. It is obvious that iOS is faster since there are few models that run it (here the easy optimization) compared to Android.
Still, as an Android user, I will never switch the platform no matter how fast iOS would be, simply it's not offering enough for my needs and the the steep pricing that they have, I consider Android the best option there is on the market.
Need to say that an iOS will give more stability over the years unlike some Android siblings, but at least that can be compensated with the price.

You can't compare speed test by switching app through another in a race time as not all applications open or load at the same time some open faster on Samsung and some open Faster on iPhone on top of that Samsung has touchwiz transitions going on. The one below looks a better test

Well, we already know the iPhone 7 will be faster. But the iPhone 7 is slower than the iPhone 6s in a recent video I watch.

Not a worthy comparison. The fastest android phone is from huawei kirin based chipset. Look at mate 8,p9 and honor 8 speedtest. Discomark tells the truth. Galaxy series is good on benchmark not in real world performance!

It doesn't matter. People (like me) why buy the Note series use it for productivity, and it's going to be well fast enough. If you want to game, buy an iPhone 7, and HTC 10, Xperia XZ (or is it ZX?!), LG G5 etc, stereo speakers in some of those too. I had a Note 4, and whilst touchwhiz on it's old processor was starting to show it's age, it was more than snappy enough when apps were running or it was playing video or games.
