GoPro Karma drone is finally official alongside Hero 5 Black and Hero 5 Session cameras

The wait is finally over. Today GoPro took the wraps off its first drone, called Karma. It's a foldable unit, and in fact it ships in a small backpack that you can use to carry it around. The quadcopter's controller has a touchscreen and two joysticks.

                  Info by mexican carrier & retailer Telcel:

                  * Can fly up to 4.5 kilometers height
                  * 5", 720 pixels screen on the remote controller
                  * 303x411x117 milimeters when fully open
                  * Weights about 2 lbs.
                  * Speeds up to 56 Km/h
                  * 5100mAH removable battery on the drone, another battery on the controller, use the same charger.
                  * Battery takes around 1 hour to fully recharge (0% to 100%)

                    FINALLY the GoPro series have some sort of stabilization, because since it's first version it's never had it. Use to think GoPro's were useless without stabilization but now it has it, it's worth considering.

Yes i too think this is overkill and doesnt make any sense. But considering this rumor i have at least expected the hero5 to have 4k@60 /4k@120 and 1080@120 /1080@240. But it dissapointed and came out half baked with same resolutions and fps

                                Gopro 5 has the same capabilities as the 4. What a dissapointment as we've been waiting a long time for an upgrade (video res/fps or better UI) and there were rumors about 8k recording

                                  the hero 5 black would have needed 4K60 or HDR video to offer something different, as still for £200 you can get a Yi 4k camera which offers what 80% of the features for £150 less.
