When the consumer model comes out there will be some differences. I'd wait for a review on the consumer model. Same with the note 7. It's probably going to have different battery life... Well one would hope. The note 7s battery was so terrible. 3 and a half to 4 hours of screen on time. So so terrible. Hopefully they fixed that too

Note 7 is brilliant phone. The edges are very small, symmetric with the back, and make it the most beautiful phone on the Planet. By far most comfortable to hold big phone(with amazing one-handed mode). Shall I mention the S-Pen features?:) Or the best camera?
When Note7 is back again it will not only outsell V20 by miles, but all the android flagship phones combined.
Given, that Note is only niche device.

Why is LG V20 waiting so long to come out? Oct 5 to 10 would a fantastic time for LG.

It won't be "interesting", especially with all the pent up demand, the Note 7 will outsell the V20 at least 10:1.

I would rather take my chances with Samsung because LG phones can die on you anytime of "boot loop" which affected thousands that started on G3, G4 & V10, who know could even happen with G5 & V20 in the following months to come. My V10 is paper weight now because of it only after 10 months of use, no thanks LG.

Wow, talk about digging your own grave. You announce a phone on 6th of Sept, then release it 6 weeks later. Instead of you capitalising on the mistakes of your rival you decide to release it on the same day as them. Sales suicide

LG is also plagued with reboot loops and whatever issues. It brags having Nougat first when the Pixel phones could be released close to it. This is a terrible decision by LG. Announce it same day as iPhone 7. Note7 is going to a recall. But release it the day the Note7 comes back on sale!

Note7 is actually the better phone with a better camera. Lanh from Android Authority is wrong that the V20 photos was better. Note7 also has the better design and display. But V20 has removable battery with metal back cover. No prone to smudges and scratches. Faster UI. Cheaper. Tough decision. 50/50 on October 21 between them. Would have been easier had LG released it earlier so we can weed out the early bugs. LG kinda blew it by releasing this perhaps 3-4 weeks too late..
50/50 between these two.. Note7 isn't a bad phone no matter what stigma it has. Still beats the iPhone 7 Plus in camera. I prefer LG over Samsung as a brand for sticking to removable battery and quietly innovative but Note7 seems like the better overall device. Both companies have their share of problems with previous flagships. This is like a coin toss on Oct 21.

Korean giants going head to head again, bad move by LG september is prime, time for V20 launch cause most people are avoiding Note7 and going for Iphone7 with V20 coming in android and big screen lovers who are impatient will have to goto V20
