Look... moreOf course there is optimized softwares..... there are some Chinese phones with 6000mah battery with entry level chipset and HD display. Even though it's like a brick in hand it's battery will finish in 24 hours with heavy usage. S7 with Qhd display has the same time with the same usage with so many software from Samsung working in background. Blackberry is almost stock. So it's not necessary to carry a brick in your hand . It's not comfortable if it's heavy. There are people who always complain about things that they never gonna buy in there life but do have big mouth .... ohh .... for the people who complain about it's name ... it has a nice NAME ....BLACKBERRY....

Everything looks good except for the battery which could have been at least 3500 mAh. I can adjust with that battery too, but just cant tolerate the name DTEK 60. Argon sounds much better to me. BB could have introduced these phones with their code names Mercury, Argon and Neon.

With quick charge 3 it can handle emergency situations.. a well optimized software with 3000 mah battery will be enough for one day of heavy usage... Samsung doing it with Qhd display..... please don't make stupid comments about the phones if you don't know... if you are getting paid or not for bad mouthing about good products. Dtek60 isn't official yet but stupid people saying about it's battery performance already....

The last hub update was fantastic. Am totally keen on their android devices now. Really want BlackBerry browser and file managers released for android and integrated with their universal search.swipe gesture options to include recent apps also.
My wifes xperia compact is running the hub+ app and launcher. It's turned it from an average phone into a great phone.
Dtek 60 is a little big for me. Will wait for the rome.

You clearly know nothing about hardware manufacturing or ARM SOMs. Platform re-use it the KEY to quick product releases and profitable designs. Nobody designs the entire phone themselves except Apple and Samsung, and they use parts from all over. Re-branding is a defacto part of ANY hardware industry.
