21 September 2016
At least two of the country's Big Four carriers - Sprint and Verizon - have the new, safer version of the handset listed on their respective websites.

I found extremely ironic how Samsung let happen the problem with the battery. Second, This is the first smartphone that is overprice on release date, but after the battery issue they can not claim the same price. I expect the price will be reduce to $700 U.S.

      Problem solved.

Sams... moreLoved this comment as well, yeah I mean as I have heard the 7's battery life isn't perfect, but Samsung will probably learn from the explosion and possibly make a device that of course has perma fixed the issue, but make bateries that other phone manfacturers will end up adopting.

Operationblitz , 21 Sep 2016I think it will be interesting to see what Note 7s final sa... moreI wouldn't be suprised if there was a somewhat massive discount or price drop addition at some carriers or maybe an extented/renewed ad campagn.

To be completely honest, as a fan of the brand, its really hard for me to just dump Samsung and move over to new hardware as easily. Sorta great its back on sale, despite the battery explosions, its still an amazing device i'd buy now...and there is a headphone jack for people like me who cant deal with peripheral ports and expensive phone cases.

AnonD-483897, 21 Sep 2016What should I buy, after the recall? Note7 or iPhone 7/Plus? iphone had many gates issue, even the iphone7 released. go for note 7 safe version.

AnonD-483897, 21 Sep 2016What should I buy, after the recall? Note7 or iPhone 7/Plus? Best choice is note 7. Lg v20 and the iphone 7 plus are objectively inferior choices. However, purchasing any product is never an objective endeavor alone. So go for whichever you think will meet your needs best.

Really? That was faster thann I expected. I actually returned my Note 7 and got the iPhone 7 Plus. I honestly didn't want to sit and wait forever for my replacement to come. Never been a fan of iPhones but they may have won me over this time.

AnonD-483897, 21 Sep 2016What should I buy, after the recall? Note7 or iPhone 7/Plus? I'd suggest you add lg v20 in your consideration. It's got a full 5.7 inch screen for perfect multimedia consumption (the note 7 got some distorted images on dual edge and thus, you dont get full 5.7' anymore). It's also already on android 7.0 while you will wait until end of year to get android 7.0 on the note 7 at the earliest and later if it was bought through a wireless carrier. Lg v20 also has an ir port to control your tv and other home theatre devices. Lg v20 is also the best overall cameraphone for photo and video, while note 7 is slightly better for low light photo and fast focus.

                                        IPHONE 7 326PPI
                                        IPHONE 7+ 401PPI
                                        NOTE 7 518PPI

The Note 7 has the best screen on the market at the moment.

As for which phones to go for well that depends on your demands.

IPhone 7 is compact and water resistant (though water damage not covered by Apples warranty)

iPhone 7+ bigger screen than IPhone 7 and more ram.

Caveats with IPhones, No wireless charging, No fast charge, Stuck with ITunes unless jail broken which invalidates Apples warranty. The fusion chip is fast but then it's optimised for Apple software on smaller screens so not a fair comparison really.
Also no 3.5mm jack which any audiophile will tell you wireless sound is rubbish just like wired Internet or wireless.

Note 7 caveats: Some batteries were powered by chernobyl but that's been now sorted apparently.

                                        Android OS bloatware.

If you want productivity and a nice S-Pen then go the Note 7 way. SD storage.

Due to the waterproofing of most phones I think removable batteries are a thing of the past now. Besides most people change there phones every 2 years on contract or 12 months with Apple or Samsung purchase programmes.
