Zenfone 2 got the marshmallow update in Europe in July, almost a full year after being revealed by google!!! Is that what you call fast updates?
And again, when i talk about Lenovo, I'm talking about Lenovo+Motorola+Zuk not only Lenovo. Motorola is one of the fastest when coming out with updates and they are now with Lenovo.
Zenfone2 was crap, screen was crap outside in the sun, no brightness whatsoever, full of bloatware, battery life is crap due to Intel cpu, lagging in games though it had 4GB ram, etc
AGAIN, how is Asus better???

It's VERY FUNNY to compare a Redmi and Zenfone 2, even in Android update terms, as the PRICE of both device is like HEAVEN & EARTH. If u want to make a comparison, try Mi4 or Mi Max, not REDMI, DUDE...
BTW, no matter how u see it, ASUS is really getting REALLY cheeky by releasing ZF 3 standard with SD625 but priced as expensive as SD650-powered devices.
Mi Max with SD650, 3GB RAM & 32GB ROM only priced Rp3,000,000, while ZF 3 with SD625 priced Rp4,100,000? This is why EVERYONE said Asus is CRAZY, OVERPRICED, GOING SAMSUNG'S WAY, etc.
Just be real, how can a Taiwanese phone manufacturers sold a lower performance phone with expensive price tag, while their brothers in China mainland can sold a higher performance devices with US$100 cheaper?

In short, TKDN is a policy to protect ALL THE BIG BRAND MANUFACTURERS in Indonesia who pays BIG MONEY to them to MONOPOLY the smartphone market in Indonesia.
Don't believe what I said? Look closely at how TKDN policy easily changed from time to time, and look at how Apple can still sold iPhone 6 with 4G support enabled albeit Apple refusal of TKDN policy as ALL their phones are manufactured in Taiwan by Foxconn.
Still don't believe? Look at esemka car which is said to be produced in 2015, but then go poof all of a sudden. Why? Because ALL BIG PLAYER in car industry in Indonesia pays BIG MONEY to make that esemka car production plan getting scrapped so they could MONOPOLY the car market in Indonesia.
In short, our government are being paid to protects the MONOPOLY of smartphone markets in Indonesia, that's why our government made some policy like TKDN and other complicated regulations & bureaucrats' doing so that new brand or well-known Chinese phone manufacturers difficult to get in & stay in Indonesia.
BTW, I'm not Xiaomi fanboys. What I want is a CHEAP but GREAT Android phone. And the only Chinese manufacturer I know that offer this is Xiaomi alone, as Meizu & Lenovo CHEAP phones don't offer GREAT features, OnePlus & Asus is too expensive to buy, Alcatel & Acer & ZTE don't offer GREAT phones, OPPO, VIVO, Coolpad & Huawei NEVER offer CHEAP but GREAT phone, HAIER & HISENSE Android phone don't offer GREAT features.
Just look at how many manufacturers, especially Chinese, offers a SD652 / SD650 / Helio X25 / Helio X20 for their CHEAP Android phone? Only Xiaomi

Lenovo P90 (The big enemy Zenfone 2) still on Android 4.4 and Xiaomi Redmi never get an OS updates Thats why ASUS its better here. Overpriced? Many reviews say Zenfone 3 has a great built quality thats why ASUS phones 3rd gen its overpriced little bit. You can tell it to them if you csn trust me again.

Last week, I bought a Xiaomi Mi Max SD650 with 3GB RAM & 32GB ROM version, and there's no OFFICIAL release for it here, nonetheless the device is GREAT with official MIUI 7 Global stable.
If u think India is BETTER than here, U ARE WRONG. In India, if the manufacturers don't officially sold the phone, U CAN'T BUY IT except from the overseas ONLINE SHOP, while in Indonesia, u just have to go to ROXY (in Jakarta), and ask for the phone u want, and u can get one, abeit with a higher price than recommended retail price in China.
And u know what? ASUS SUCKS. They think TOO HIGHLY OF THEMSELVES after successfully sold Zenfone 2 in Indonesia.
For a standard Zenfone 3 with SD625 to be priced US$312 is BLOODY DOWNRIGHT CRAZY, as u can get a Xiaomi Mi Max SD650 3GB RAM with just US$228!
When the Redmi 4 comes here, MOST of Asus Zenfone 3 (except the Deluxe which powered by SD820) are in DIRECT CONFRONTATION with Xiaomi:
Zenfone 3 LASER (SD430) vs. Redmi 3s/ 3s Prime / 3x (SD430)
Zenfone 3 (SD625) vs. Redmi 4 (SD625) / Redmi Note 3 Pro (SD650)
Zenfone 3 Ultra (SD652) vs. Mi Max (SD652)
Zenfone 3 Max (MT6737m)vs. Redmi Pro (Helio X20/ X25) / Redmi Note 4 (Helio X20) / Redmi Note 3 (Helio X10) / Redmi Note 2 (Helio X10)
So, after looking at the list above, will they still buy a Zenfone, aside from the camera, official warranty, & brand power, than the more 'logical" Xiaomi devices? If u are smart, no chances to buy a Zenfone OVERPRICED rigs, but if u are "brand-minded", like most of Samsung & Apple Die-Hard fanboys, a new rigs from their "beloved company" is a MUST-HAVE

There is also a new variant of Asus ZenFone 3 Max with large 5.5 Inch screen and Snapdragon 430 processor. I just don't know if this was released in China as well

Cause Lenovo just release only can release Vibe K cause if they release ZUK phones its will be killing other Lenovo series phones market, Xiaomi only can release Redmi Series which its higher price to 100 $ + No 4G LTE due TKDN rules + To reducing price like just only release XRN3P with 16GB and XR3P with 32 GB (like indian market Xiaomi just release 32GB Mi5), Motorola still selling old Moto G,OnePlus give up to Indonesian Market due TKDN rules.
Thats why ASUS its better than these phones. These phone brands only focus in China and India market. These phones cant be better than ASUS or other brands which its can focus on other India and China market.
