I Thought HTC was a brand that see audio as their main Strength. But with this kind of step, i doubt audiophilers will go to HTC ever again :/

this is why i hate apple everyday.

Why? I wish manufacturers would stop looking to Apple for ideas, it's not like they are super innovators or something. Hopefully this trend doesn't continue (because frankly its a terrible idea)

Dear companies, while you bother to remove the headphone jack from your designs, please also add in the waterproofing.

              Thank you,

not that much problem , personally I prefer going wireless and who knows that it can be in the near future use all phones USB type C and make an external mic jack with the USB type C or
USB 2.0 or 3.0 that it would be better for thinner phones with external headphone jack with usb so, nothing to worry .

Anonymous, 21 Sep 2016Moto z was the first phone without headphone jack so Apple ... moreI thought Le Eco was the first one to remove the 3.5mm jack from a modern smartphone with the Le Max 2 earlier this April.

On a side note, my old HTC TYTN and Tilt were smartphones well ahead of Apple, Moto and Le Eco. They had no 3.5mm jack and had and adapter that plugged into the mini USB port to provide one.

Anonymous, 21 Sep 2016The copy iphone stuff has begunYou talk as if designing and producing a phone takes a week. You know how much research goes into rerouting audio through the charging slot, especially when we're talking of different OSs here. Stop talking through your arse, because what comes out is nonsense. If another manufacturer can't do something because one did it first then we'd have monopolies in everything, from cars to what we eat. We only hear of these things when it comes to phones, why? Are we really sheeps? This is from an iPhone 6s user.
