Jealousy is rather an ugly quality... If non iPhone users are happy without one don't try and persuade yourself you don't actually want one by putting down others who do have one

Most reliable yet breakable? That's just about the most inconsistent conclusion about anything. Ever.
I could take this opportunity to rant about the iPhone, but people still flock to buy them. I'd be flogging dead sheep....

Anonymous, 12 Nov 2010So could you elighten everyone to how face time works witho... moreway to read the thread.
It's an application called Fring, not FaceTime. I suspect both devices need Fring for it to work, so the issues are pretty similar to FaceTime, and as I said with ordinary videocalling both pieces of software would be redundant.

Anonymous, 12 Nov 2010not sure.. possibly. doesnt bother me as im not interested ... morePoint taken. Nonetheless, it sounds like Fring has very similar downsides to FaceTime - and both Fring and FaceTime would be redundant if Apple chose to implement regular 3G videocalling, as has been common for the past 7 years.

[deleted post]No but i do use my phone to help run my successful IT business and the iPhone just couldn't cope when I used the 3G so it went.
Android and replaceable battery for me any day of the week.
To me, you are nothing more than a typical iPhone user who can not see the phone has faults and isn't for everyone.

Anonymous, 13 Nov 2010I don't mind being called lame because I play games on my p... moreAgreed.
No one can deny that gaming is an important part of smartphone strategy now. Nintendo has admitted that Apple is their biggest threat, not Sony.
Even WP7 highlighted games in their launch, which in my opinion is stronger than Android's potential.
Gaming on smartphones are here to stay, and will be an important component to be considered by the smartphone companies.

Anonymous, 10 Nov 2010did you buy your phone to play games? lame...I don't mind being called lame because I play games on my phone that fine. But there is a big market it for it. Even Android want a piece of the pie hence there lame attempt (remember you used the word) at a deal with Sony in actually getting some decent games for Android as it is lame to play games on your mobile nobody will be buying that ugly and mean truly ugly old designed handset then.
I wouldn't say that I only use my phone to play games but I do have a few on there.
