I'm in the same boat, LOX bought last december and still no marshmallow, despite it being promised by end of Q1. Shameful, really.

That said, the phones are decent quality and cheap as chips. As long as you don't expect the "promised" updates... not bad choices.

I don't see major improvement apart the better camera and the fast charge.
                    (And the Marshmellow software)

                    btw:
BLU says the Marshmellow update for L1X should come before the end of the year... But they said at the beggining that it would came on the first quarter of 2016.

Anonymous, 22 Sep 2016Will it get 4g in europe?Blu operates in the US and Latin America and usually just includes those regions frequencies in their handsets. They are usually rebranded Gionee (a Chinese mobile company) handsets. You might get the frequencies you want on the Gionee equivalents. For example the Blu Pure XR is the Gionee S8 and the Blue Vivo 5R is the Gionee S6s. Not sure of the Life One X equivalent since it was just announced.

total cost would be about $50 so $149.99 is overpriced hahaha

Advice against buying Blu phones. Their customer support and warranty policies are the worst. They will make every possible excuse not to repair your phone.

BLU changed my life. I was doing the Apple iPhone thing like billions of other people. It lacked high resolution screen.
BLU is a very well priced phone. I started my relationship with BLU earlier this year when I abandoned Apple for BLU, and Android OS, what a great decision. I'll likely never go back to iOS. The BLU Life One X was perfect for my budget. It was modern, non flashy, felt great, and overall sexy. It performed amazingly, and continues to do so. Its perfect for any average smartphone user. And it synches everything just fine. Apps, no problem. Phone charging and indoor camera usage are disappointing, but I have already pre-ordered the BLU Life One X2, and just CAN' T WAIT for it to arrive. It feels like Christmas really. So excited. I love BLU, and thank you BLU for the camera and battery upgrade, was much needed!!! And all at the same price!!!!!!!
