Just letting everyone know, this is the reason Sony disables the fingerprint scanner in the US:
      https://www.google.com/patents/US20120019356

Hewlett-Packard has a US patent on fingerprint scanners on the power button, so Sony cannot legally enable it in the US.

Should be $50 less IMO. It doesn't really offer anything over its competition, so a more favorable price would do well to make it a more attractive buy.

Not going to lie, the pricing here is actually good. It's in line with the competition and it offers as much features. Considering the S7 Edge is still $800 off contract (When you buy from a carrier) I think this is a good price. If I didn't have my LG G5 I would probably consider this. I think they did a disservice however by removing the Fingerprint reader from the US Model, huge loss.

techperson211, 23 Sep 2016Decent price, fast release and a true Flagship. Decent price haha

Is Sony the only smartphone company from Japan that sells high-end smartphones globally, what about Sharp/Fujitsu? I know Panasonic does but that is just low-end/entry level phones

Decent price, fast release and a true Flagship.
