Check out the link below. It shows that even a year ago, people are puzzled as to why SE X10 will launch with Android 1.6 when 2.0 was already available back then. Read post number 27 and take a look at the time stamp of the post! It's exactly a year ago. LOL

Here's another link about the X10's 65K color. Android 2.0 was already out a long time ago and these SE guys can't even get 16 million colors to work on the X10.

The X10 is still stuck at 65K while the Mini and the Mini Pro got 16 million colors? WTH?!
Now tell me why I should buy another SE phone after all these fumbles? It screams laziness on SE part to update or maybe they are having a hard time skinning Android 2.2 Froyo and making it all fancy.
Yeah, yeah, you fanbois will say that Android 1.6 is stable and SE is not rushing things out of the door. Android 1.6 is stable but so is Windows 2000! Would you like your laptop loaded with Windows 2000 when Windows 7 is out?
I'm still waiting for the Eclair Update on my Rogers SE X10.

Haven't you learned from the X10 fiasco? This phone will on the market after a lot of delays and by the time this gets out of the gate, the 2nd half flagship from other manufacturers will be out.

S.E. just make a phone w/vivaz body and put android 2.1 and up in it. if possible, put a cover on the camera sa well =)

I really love Sony Ericsson, but the love is fading. The time this phone is released, it's a mid-range phone. THE word for SE is SPEED!!

at max 8MP in a phone is sufficient.
the sensor should be of good quality and the capture speed should be fast.
12mp with blur is faaaaar poor than 8mp sharp image.
i just hope the capture speed is fast!!

Who needs 12 MP camera in phone. I think 5MP with 720p video is the threshold and anything beyond that is simply a waste..
