Another flagship, another focus on vr by samsung. Maybe 4k vr can finally make vr mainstream? Hopefully for samsung owners, they don't have to buy yet another vr headset and can use the current one.

Only the op3 did because it has a higher thermal threshold before throttling so it gets hotter, and has more ram, and phonebuff's speed test has some gpu heavy stuff in it. And again, efficiency. And again, other benchmarks show the exynos has a better cpu overall.

Efficiency is one of the most important aspect. And there are more cpu benchmarks than geekbench, and most of them show exynos is better.

        This was true even two years ago, the exynos note 4 had better computing power than the sd805.

There are already mo... moreI meant for this year...SD 821 is just overclocked version of SD820 , Helio X30 is stil probably crap, didn't saw one phone that is using it but I will hold on my judgment/opinion about it till then...and I don't even consider A10 bc it's available only on the one platform and one device which are completely different , so it's not comparable...

It is not about the resolution. Only situation that is about resolution is games. The fact is, Apple has the best architecture and the most powerful cores but also the fastest storage (they have not the fastest in GPU anymore, I admit that because I am not a blind fanboy).

                        This is why more and more people are preferring samsung's in house chipset than that of qualcomm's these days. With the new 8895, samsung is going to go one level higher with a better gpu than sd. It can only be a good thing for both the company and the end consumers.

                                    Oneplus, ZTE, HTC, LG, Sony, Apple, have all sidelined battery capacity or just have poor optimisation. The only exception here is the iPhone Plus series.

                                      Samsung must work hard for this phone.

                                        Anonymous, 24 Sep 2016once again Sammy is blinding people through the spec sheet.... morejust root the device and then you will see how much specs count. if the s8 specs would be a pixel device, it would wipe everything else out on the market, bc of the specs and os. but, lose on battery tho, bc we know sammy will put a crappy battery in it. so it can look good instead of run longer.
