Sameday i have submitted at authorized service center at Bhubaneswar, till date(i.e. 25-09-2016) they can't repair it. Even informing to their online service center nothing happened. Here I advice never ever purchase MOTOROLA. If you are from Bhubaneswar, then never think to purchase MOTOROLA. You can GOOGLE motorola service center at Bhubaneswar and you can find 1.6* rating.

Samsung did ONE mistake but that's big enough for a giant like Samsung. That too when it's almost close to become Apple like in terms of consumer loyalty and love. This one mistake will cost it badly. I too hope S8 comes out soon and this incident is forgotten.

But Lenovo's and now Moto's post-sales service is sh*t. I don't think you have faced it yet. Samsung has wide reach with brand name and good service that is why Indians have made Samsung the No.1 smartphone selling company in the country.

Gsmarena have an entire list of ever existing Samsung phone since the 90's! No need to remember so hard. They have a wide portfolio because its a 'Galaxy' phone. They can make phone as many as stars in the galaxy. They do have few good phone. Very very few. Galaxy S4 GPE was great; the cleanest, bloatware-free, less features, and almost lag free android they ever built. Galaxy Alpha is another fav by customers for their compactness and flagship specs. Note7 exploded but that is old story now. One mistake leads to more fingers pointing at their fault. JUST THAT ONE MISTAKE! Media is nitpicking on Samsung by trying to blame every fault or any accidents toward Samsung. Even something as pointless and non-related incident as the recently exploded Note 2(yeah, Note 2) on a plane from Singapore to India, is nitpicked to create an assumption that EVERY Note series has the potential to explode and that is pretty much saying "Hey, Note 2 exploded. So, when will Samsung do a global recall on my Note 2?". This is so stupid. See where this going? Samsung will forever be haunted by 'explosion'. Go ahead and buy iphone 7 or any other cheap Chinese phone. Your choice. Nobody forcing you to buy a Samsung. Go ahead and bash Samsung as any other normal people out there. I won't defend them for Note7 incident. Afterall, its all just a phone.

J7 Prime costs Rs.19k and if On8 will come with SD 625 then I expect its price to be over 20k, around 22k-25k. But at the same time if its priced anything over 20k, it will become a typical Samsung phone with typical pricing. Nothing to get excited about then I guess.

They use the most expensive and latest hardware available. Specs arrangement and pricing is a bit on the edge. Most chinese phone able to compete by using off-brand hardware or cheaper version of hardware@old hardware but high specs to create an illusion they have manufactured a good quality phone with high specs and low price. So, there is no perfect phone out there. Too hard to choose.

On 5, 7 and now 8. A5, 7, 8. J2, 5, 7.. C series.. Galaxy S6, S7 and Note 5, 7. Throw in all thise Prime, Mega and Active in between.. how does Samsung even remember it's own portfolio ? And why does it have such a wide portfolio? Can't they have few but good phones ? I use S6 Edge and was planning to buy Note 7 just when it started exploding. I really really love Samsung but they themselves aren't doing good for themselves. And that is steering people towards Apple at high end and Xiaomi/Lenovo/Moto at mid/low ends. Samsung needs a self check and for once look at it with love/pride/honor and work towards to maintain that !!

afaik if your budget is around that of an On or J model gor for some other company...samsung is not very good spec wise (nor are any other flagship makers for that matter) for mid range models

3600 mAH battery (4000 mAH would be even better)
Fingerprint Sensor
A perfect mid-ranger IMO.... just the price needs to be below 20k.
