Meh, I'll be sticking with my Z3c, no point side-grading just for something new especially if it means losing important features. Bring on the XZ/Z6 compact :)

i'm not samsung fan. but they (sammy engineers) try so hard to improve android. add a lot of features, best screen, etc.
i know their touchwiz is not-so-good. but at least they give more premium features to their users. and they deserve to sell their product expensive.
unlike sony, you get less but you pay more.

Sony phones are pretty durable and long lasting. I have the Z, Z2, Z3.
All are still working after all these years for the older ones. Z3 is still going strong. Not once did i even had to repair it after quite abit of unintentional abuse done over the years
I guess for such quality the price is justifiable.

Something they've done a few decades ago? It doesn't automatically make them high brand in today's world. They invest almost nothing in new models development: couple of designers, couple of material specialists, a few programmers to do minor changes to stock Android, couple of testers and that's it. It's a level of low name chinese manufacturer. Look carefully to their devices: they use cheap materials, stock Android (no need to pay developers for customization), design in pretty much the same from one model to another. So what makes them high brand? 23 MP camera? How is the hell they deserve to be called a high brand? For installation of stock Android (OS developed by other company) into a plastic body in new design? Is it something what makes them great? In fact they operate on a level of low name chinese manufacturer. This is what I feel when I see their devices.

To some people the X Compat and Redmi Note 3 Pro are apples and oranges. A lot of people interested in this phone want a small phone so comparing it to bigger phones isn't applicable. Also, you can't just say you can buy 3 Note 3 Pro's for the price of this one phone, we can say that with anything like the Nexus 5X is often $199 with Fi, for that price I can get 5 Moto E's (2015). Not a fair comparison or argument.

Sony still fails to develop their phone. It seems like they can not produce a thinner phone(very slim) as they kept on doing phones of bigger size that a person can't even put in his pocket
