Samsung always had mediocre quality except for a hand full of phones. There's no question, there's MANY more companies out there that produce better products, and always has. Samsung just marketed their products better.

This is bad for business. Whoever was responsible for the battery of this phablet has done more harm than good to the reputation of the company, Samsung. They need to up their game next year and pray really hard that the masses forgive and forget.

South Korea isn't that big of a country. They probably can manage to turn their phones in themselves, without resorting to courier service.

Anonymous, 26 Sep 2016don't you samsung has given too much time for a simple repl... moreThere are a few issues that they need to deal with, for example I got my phone from a different city and the shop can't courier me the phone. I need to go to the Samsung store to exchange it but each store got enough phones for the customers who bought the phone through their shop. No biggie though, I just need to wait till this Tuesday (tomorrow) when they get more stock.

The article states they are pushing back the re-release date because they are prioritizing exchanging the faulty phones first. If they restart the sales than it would make exchanging more difficult.
