Reports are coming from South Korea that the replaced Note7 units have further usability issues.

      Nope! Mine work fine, no overheat, no drain battery. Work perfectly.

Nokia is solely responsible for the failure of Symbian, they could not develop the OS for the modern age. in the mean time android was developed and customers embraced the OS. and Windows 10 mobile is a perfect alternative to Android or iOS. Lumia 950/XL are brilliant devices, Lumia 1520,930, 830m was so too. It just lag only few apps. But its very smart, smooth, safe, junk free, sometimes better than android or iOS. you have to try it to make a comment. don't rely on android users. I have 3 phones and all 3 are windows 10 powered. I can't even think of leaving the OS. recently I bought a android device and I sold it within a week. i'll never buy another android device. and the final words I want to say Samsung is nothing without android OS.

                  Anonymous, 27 Sep 2016Should have stuck with Note 6 instead of jumping a number.No....skipping 6 was a good idea. Had there been not battery issues. Apple wouldn't have been able to cash in. Feature wise iphone is lagging behind..Even Asus has fast charging.

                      Anything esle is under real attack. If come even better OS, then US will try first massive media attac- if doesn't help, will buy or kill . Like with Nokia.
                      It will not be easy for Tizen, but so far , so good.. We should just cross fingers.

                          They had more features (IR-blaster, removable battery...)
                          They were "more affordable"

                          I bet things wouldn't be such a bloody mess if that Note 7 had a user-replaceble battery :-(

                              It's not: "Do you use android cause it's a US company or someone/something forcing you to use android?"

                              It's rather: Are there any phones in stores WITHOUT Android or iOS?
                              As an end user I don't really care what OS my phone runs. And for the silent majority (the large community that is NOT app-crazy and mainly use their phones to call, text and perhaps email/skype/whatsap) the OS used is even less important. In fact many (older) users of whatsap use it because of their children or younger family members told them so.

                              It's rather what "deals" did Samsung have to make to get Android from Google? Is it so hard to believe that Samsung HAD to restrict the sales and development of Tizen in order to obtain an Android license? Just as Nokia HAD to ditch Symbian to get (almost) exclusive rights to obtain Windows Phone OS and some cash as well. In my book this is called: a bribe! but you probably call that a "business opportunity". So it would not surprise me if Google bribed Samsung to halt development of Tizen as much as possible.

                                        Samsung making US-Android popular is not same as to make Tizen popular.
                                        As I told you US wanna own an control all the OS on the world, and kill or buy every other. It will be not so easy for Tizen, that's why Samsung start it outside US propaganda radius.
                                        With Windows Phone, MS made mistake moves, so Samsung just left them. That's why WP is dead. And even less popular than Tizen.
