one of the best offers on the market these days! CM14 is also made for this phone...what else do you need? true, this phone is not for showing off...its for making phone calls, sending messages, browsing the net, watching movies and playing some music..... all that for less then $200. people who are ashamed to have Xiaomi instead of iPhone or Samsung, its their problem, their limitation....

Samsung S6, S7 are better than Samsung A5, A7
Samsung A5, A7 are better than Xiaomi Note3
Xiaomi Note3 is better than Samsung J5, J7*
* = xiaomi has LCD pannel wich is worse than OLED !
So you can not compare some smartphones only by money because there is a price and a market (India, UE, USA, China, etc).

Well done to Xiaomi. Their success seems to be more for their unrivaled "bang for buck" and being very involved in their community.
It's a shame they don't sell these phones to the west as grey importing is a pain. The Redmi Pro looks to be quite a sweet phone and if I had to buy a new phone today that would be it.
However everything I keep hearing about the Mi 5S and the Mi Note 2 make me think maybe it's best to wait a little while longer.

Xiaomi would destroy Samsung if they could sell their phone in North America
I have a note 2 and it's great ...even with a mediatek processor
I also have a nexus 6p but I really like using my Redmi,absulutely great bang for the buck and miui global is cool
I ordered a mi max last week and i think I will use it as my daily driver just for fun
