Report says Apple is planning new MacBook lineup refresh in October

According to MacRumors recent rumors suggest that Apple is in the works of preparing the MacBook lineup for an imminent refresh across the board. The MacBook Pro, of course, headlining a possible announcement for a late-October release of a refreshed MacBook Pro.

    The new innovative Apple. Lets wait and see the price increases too. It's been apples marketing technique for the past 5 years. According to Apple price increase reflects increase in innovation.

        @Editor, Polaris is AMD. They might be replacing either Maxwell, Nvidia or older versions of AMD GPUs.

                Interesting. I will not be upgrading as my MacBook Pro Retina 2014 on Mac OS Sierra still works like new and has never failed me yet :)

                  Polaris is an AMD architecture, so they're not replacing AMD with Polaris. They're updating to the newest architecture from AMD

                                  "new MacBook Air models with USB-C ports"

                                  They have added USB-C ports on MB and will be adding it to the new line of MBP and MBA but just to make money from Lighting port certification from other manufacturers, they didn't opt for USB-C for iPhones and iPads.

                                  In future, they can remove headphone jack from MacBook and replace it with USB-C, now with two ports MacBook will have better flexibility and options. Also, with iPhone using USB-C, you won't need to carry different headphones.

                                  A beautiful world where all the devices use a universal port :) But this ain't going to happen.
