"the iPhone 7 Plus initially showed no performance improvement over the iPhone 7" and the update will do it? that means the 7Plus will be better cuz the update won't improve the 7 as much? they should improve them both the hardware is there, any update should affect both in the same i guess...

No wonder Samsung lags like hell....
After so many years and so many version of flagships, Samsung still lags with their crappy TouchWiz and now their battery problems.
Even GSMarena says so.
It's very obvious Samsung fail in the software department.
That's why I recommended my friends go for HTC (HTC Sense) or LG with much better and smoother Android experience.

Mine shows a bit of improvement in speed. Well, maybe it's just me but I think it improved a bit.
