My galaxy s6 edge has just completely blacked out, it was fully charged. Switched itself off & won't switch back on, won't respond to charger or USB on pc. Completely defunct!

I've got a Galaxy S6 and this morning I cant call or receive messages and im assuming its because of this stupid security update. I suggest holding off if you can because it may be the reason my phone is almost useless at the moment. My battery is draining really fast also. Just a heads up

I have Samsung Galaxy s6 plus (international unlocked) and I got the update yesterday. It's working great and I think even the battery is lasting longer. I am happy with the update.

Why is everyone bi*** about security updates?? If your phone is working fine, what do you need an update for? Especially one you dont even know youve gotten because its firmware.
Got the S6 edge+ and it just works perfectly, I dont need any updates, ever.

Samsung phone is expired when the new one comes out. that's what I felt when I buy Samsung last year which is this phone. its ridiculous.

Shows you how Samsung "cares" about their flagship premium customers.
It is no longer logical to pay premium for Android if the gold standard, Samsung, is like this.
Better just go with mid-range or lower, as they are good enough and don't cost an arm and a leg.
