Anonymous, 03 Oct 2016Indeed. Those android-idiots keep using those goddamn SoC's... moreI don't know where you live. But here I find the following phones priced reasonable and yet powerful.

OnePlus 2, OnePlus 3, Lenovo Z2 plus etc ( everything below the $350 mark ). If you still wait for a popular brand to do these things, well your wait is meaningless :)

Those android-idiots keep using those goddamn SoC's... morehuh? all u need is one device that suits you nothing more, i think the approach of the variants (such as Samsung) is to attract different kinda of customers, wether is in the screen a little bit taller or the SD being less power and cheaper, u just need to buy one of them as long as it'll do the job that's fine, i have A5 2016 atm (loving every bit of it) and unless i get mugged or something (hopefully not) it'll stick with me untill i see fit to replace ^_^

I expected 2016 the year of the reasonable priced mid-range phones with powerful SoC's (SD650/SD652) but instead it turns into a year of either cheap crap (SD4xx/61x) or overly expensive high-end phones with less features then models of 2 previous generations. :-(

2016 is truly a disapointing year. If this doesn't improve soon then I'll ditch Android and go back to my old Nokia 808PV or go to Apple. That iPhone SE is becoming quite affordable these days.

Come on Android brands. A solid phone with SD652 and ALL the features of a... let's say Galaxy S5, including IR-blaster and removable battery for a price inbetween the cheap crap and overly expensive S7-series (about 500 euro).

Korean Samsung built its name stealing design from Apple, from smartphones to tablets. And since they couldn't steal the iBatteries, Sammys device now explodes.

When will GSM Arena finally post the iPhone 7 Plus review? I want to see the battery test for it. The less intelligent ones want the iPhone 7 Minus with a 750p display (in 2016), less RAM, no 2x optical, and weaker battery. I saw PhoneBuff's speed comparison on YouTube and the 7 Minus had to refresh Asphalt 8 and Angry Birds by the 2nd round while the 7 Plus kept chugging along without any moment of the app refreshing. That extra gig of RAM sure did help.

Most smart consumers know the only iPhone 7 to get is the Plus model. The only advantage with 7 Minus is the size for one-handed use. The iPhone 7 Minus is basically like the Sony PS4 slim and Galaxy S7. You want the best, people go PS4 Pro, S7 edge, and iPhone 7 Plus. The flagships at the sub-5 inch range is a dying breed. The best of best comparisons involves flagships with "5.5 displays as the minimum.

People eventually get used to the size. This is 2016 and 2017 is only a few months away. We had time to transition while others who still complain about phablet size are still living in 2012. GSM Arena, please give us the 7 Plus review. The iPhone 7 model that matters. The iPhone 7 has specs from the stone ages. LOL @ a $700 phone with "4.7, 750p, 2gb RAM, and 1900+ mAh battery when it should be 2300 minimum since Xperia Compact have it at that size or more.

Where 7 Minus clearly loses to 7 Plus is battery life. It has nearly the same size as the Galaxy Nexus. Has barely above average battery life while the Plus is stellar. The $120 extra for the Plus is worth it. The iPhone 7 Plus is the one to get.
