AnonD-562549, 03 Oct 2016it's amoled not super amoledAll Samsung AMOLEDs are Super AMOLEDs right now. First generation AMOLED hasn't been in production since over 7 years. And Samsung technology isn't really great. Aside of lack of glow effect, it worse than Sharp's IGZO in nearly everything else. And Samsung has very poor quality control passing many broken screen with numerous issues that Samsung won't recognize as defect, like some having poor TN-like viewing angles with massive color shift even with little angles.
JDI seem pushing own JOLED to make it ready for market as fast as possible. That would be interesting.

What's the point in 2 identical devices with nearly same size? 143mm is nearly a full cm taller than a one-hand usage smartphone for an average person should be.

It looks fantastic. Really Beautiful clean lines, I like the new widget area and overall style. The back area looks classy and great that we have various unit colour variations. Personally wish their was a clue variant. I think it actually looks better that iPhone which I also like. I do not think it looks like one but even if it did, so what, go whinge about other designs that do. IPhone feels great in hand as does the beautiful HTCA9. I like the freedom of Android, so it's best of both worlds.

I like the design of the phones and it seems like they're going to be packing some decent specs but I have a feeling that Google will charge upwards of $650 and up for these.. What ever happened to Google making affordable devices? I guess those days are gone..

Pixel has more power than pixel xl, because pixel needs to push less resolution than pixel xl with the same hardware...

Why call it SD821 when it is running at SD820 speed? It seems underpowered. Xiaomi Mi5s Plus has SD821 @ 2.35Ghz
