The bezels are a joke. Literally looks like it's from 2011 or 2012.
I wonder if Google realise that a lot of people are turned off iphones by the enormous bezels.
Makes it an instant no buy for many people. That combined with the purported pricing and doing away with 'stock' android .... this has disaster written all over it.

Price will be the success factor.If it starts around £300 and ending at £390(128gb version) for the Pixel,and £390 for the XL than they will sell as hotcakes. Otherwise just simply not a good buy!

It looks like any technological slab that has been on in the past seven or eight years nothing new here but the piece of plastic on the back , is that a good thing or a bad thing idk , it's not google to blame really its people who keep complaining about slabs and yet buying them , that's where the market can control oems if smart enough but like I said all talk and then go out and buy more slabs , well get over it then or wait for the next mobile with iconic design to come out and judging what's happening now it won't be anytime soon

Google magic?? I'm waiting to see what is it.
Otherwise: huge bezels, poor battery life (probably will get 80-85h rating in best condition see s7 edge SD820 for reference), let's don't care about no IP 66 certification and lastly awful pricing.. nothing new

Its speakers on Google Pixel will like iPhone 7 series speaker? Hmm I know its like iPhone 7 without home button + No front facing speaker but 5.5 inch phone with 3400+ mah battery its great! (SGS7Edge will be better battery life maybe)

However, out of those, at least the bevelling, lines and clean body like the A9 will be nice in hand with some improvements on interface by the looks. It looks fresh and the colour enhancements on the back add some character but I know where you are coming from...
That said, I am keen for some radical new looks. Foer me the worst of the same same after same is Samsung but many are the same in general terms.
