It is just that they want to take it little by little to make us pay and change our mobile every year and in the end create more hype that will benefit their company in long term.

The 320 chip will run very hot if Samsung is making them. It's not just their phones that run hot, their TV's also like to burn up.
Great pictures but not a fan of the prices of the faulty products they put out.

I've seen people tested the phones and measured the temperature when they start throttling. More to this, friend of mine has S7Edge, and he says 40 minutes in VR and he needs to take the headset off, because it's too hot. Just because you say otherwise won't make me believe you.

You can't deny the fact that the heat pipes help a lot, and it is the only reason why Exynos doesn't overheat as much.

Won't they just fit Snapdragon 830 only into Galaxy S8, and totally remove Exynos?
After all, SD 830 will be their own and best effort, right?

You can look it up on YT. As for the heat dissipation...perhaps Samsung is using heat pipes to take away the heat, but they are also known for putting CPUs very close, or on top of memory chip, which unfortunately makes the phone heat up, because of the amount of generated heat. Pipes are a passive cooling system, so they only can take certain amount, unlike fans, that can increase RPM. Exynos in that sense is much better, Snapdragon with Adreno just generates too much heat.

Samsung can do all what they want but it's a fact well known that their phones are shitty. They hang just after 9-10 months of usage. You can see on YouTube that honor 8 with it's kirin 950 easily beats the S7 Edge in speed test. I used to be a huge Samsung fan but after i bought the Note 5 and used it for some time,i thought it's to give up on this brand. Then i bought Oneplus 3 this year and it's superior to any Samsung phone

But of course, you - along with all people - forget about the fact that Samsung phones since S7 have heatsink pipes to dissipate the heat from the CPU/GPU. That is the only reason why it don't overheat as much.

SD820 equipped with Adreno 530 GPU has some serious overheating issues, once you throw a lot at it (for example VR\demanding game). Multiple tests have shown throttling after around 30 minutes and decreased performance by around 40%. That's one of the reason, why Samsung is doing this.

Looks like Qualcomm had one too many mistakes in recent years, so loosing their main contractor could be a big financial blow for the company, hence the compromise. I wonder if Samsung spread the rumor about MediaTek chips in mid and low end phones, just to force Qualcomm's hand and push this deal.

Lolz.. from image I thought it was some new fabric from Samsung ;P

10mn? Remarkable. Intel is so totally out of that game. Wonder how long Qualcomm can keep up. I guess they have modem patents that keep them in the game. But patents last no more than 20 years. Thats probably why Qualcomm is out and about looking for acquisitions to survive the Samsung bulldozer.
