O man, I know I wrote that this phone is ugly in another thread but no amount of comments will express how bad it actually is.
I bet someone at Google had a board presentation and was like "I wanted to make it like an IPhone but I couldn't cut out the Apple logo because the whole top part of the back came off, so I slapped some glossy plastic on it, crippled it a little bit and made the bezels EVEN BIGGER so nobody says we copied anything, just in case so we are original.. and guys, how about let's also make it look more like THIS *takes a Walmart disposable phone out of the pocket*". I bet the board had a good laugh and trolled by approving the idea, and by accident someone leaked the photos so Google had to be like "ok, it's out there, we might as well release that as a product, because why not, we don't have anything else and our annual event is coming, and we're Google, people might think it's for real".

google is doing a crapple money grab gimmick here.
soon they will call it the *surprise mofos!!* the google ecosystem which will integrate all your google devices for seamless use. *gee, where i have i heard that from??*
the worst part is their much overhyped, up and coming "new" phone which turns out to be an overpriced icrapixel with the home button at the back.
why would i want to stream a 4K video over my already limited, expansive mobile data??? no amount of unlimited online cloud storage will win over data costs or battery life!!
those google executives who approved this are smoking some really serious stuff!!

About the Google Home ..I think Xperia Agent will be better it has everything like eye, ear, mouth ...if you know what I mean

Phone is overpriced. I mean Google is known for reasonable pricing for the Nexuses. But guess not with Pixel lineup.
Good to know Google phone will hold the crown for the best smartphone camera till S8 is launched next year.
I think Google is going to keep 650$ as the minimum base price for any new Pixel phone coming in the future. And then lower down the pricing of older models while launching the new ones at the same exact pricing from last year.
