Mi service centers are not upto the mark.
I went with a water logged phone and the rep said, if screen is to be replaced then rs2700 and 15 to 20 days and if motherboard is to be replaced then rs4000 and 25 to 30 days. This is lajpat nagar service center. rs250 to tell you whats wrong exactly.

It's a shame so few of the Redmi phones have LTE band 20, for full support in the UK and other bits of Europe. Very tempting devices.

With latest of hardware, preference can be as below in descending order:
- Xiaomi Mi5s siblings (due to sd821)
-One+3
-Nexus siblings
Reason is simple,coz people in India look for - dual sim and value for money.
Nexus do not have dual sim option. Yet pure breed lovers will prefer to some extent.
And yes, there will be whole new bunch of OEM who would flood the market with replicas ( coz now Pixel and iPhone look like brothers from different mothers / fathers) at dirt cheap rates.
